our blog gets recruiters thinking

I've been asked by the lovely people at APSCo to speak at their Manchester Education Sector event on 24 September.

The Education Sector forum is dedicated to recruitment businesses who specialise in education.

I'm looking forward to the event.  Moya (from APSCo) has asked me to "get practical" and help the attendees see how they can use social media to attract teachers and other education professionals.

Takeaways

I absolutely get that recruiters, especially in the education sector, have massive time challenges. Vacancies can often need filling in minutes, not days. But the need to attract talent and keep them glued to your brand is becoming more and more important – and this is a long-haul goal.

I’ll be doing a live content planning session (hoping everyone brings a pen and paper!).  I’ll be reviewing some well-known, and lesser known social media platforms and giving the attendees some ideas on how they can mine and farm content to attract talent.

You can register for the event here, and APSCo are always keen to show off their events, so if you're not a member, please get in touch here.
