They attended a UK Recruiter Technology Showcase and saw us present on CRM selection and implementation. 

As a growing business they wanted to get practical advice on their recruitment technology strategy.  They wanted help and support on the following projects:  applicant tracking and job board posting software, CRM update to Bullhorn, new website, social media and social recruiting strategy.

They wanted lots of change, and all at a very busy time – and all this whilst moving offices too!

We started with an audit and review of their existing software and processes, and devised a roadmap for changing their technology which would allow them to continue their busy workloads, whilst benefitting from the new products on the market.  We then worked with them every month and offered strategic advice on their recruitment technology projects, whilst offering training and support to help them understand how to use digital and social media tools to generate more candidates, leads and brand awareness.

We quickly realised our initial plan of just upgrading our CRM/ATS database had much wider reaching implications for our business and impacted on every area of our work.  We attended a workshop Lisa ran at a Recruitment Technology event and had our eyes opened as to what we should be doing as a minimum and more importantly what we could be doing to drive our business forward and become more competitive.  

Barclay Jones’ Social Media Training was tailored to our individual need.  It was focussed on our particular situation, the recruitment areas we specialise in and 100% relevant to us. This was key as everyone in the business participated. Barclay Jones combined outstanding technical knowledge with energy and enthusiasm– you don’t drift off thinking about when the coffee break is – you’re too engaged in learning and exploring.

Since working with Barclay Jones we have a coherent online strategy. Roles are being filled quicker and more efficiently than before thanks to our effective use of social media, and our LinkedIn engagement graph takes off around the time we started working with Lisa. The changes to our systems and processes have been planned so everything links seamlessly, meaning more time for recruiters to concentrate on doing what they do best – recruit!
