We have worked with Capita for over 4 years. Our role is to act as their social media advisor, advising them on strategy and how social media can be integrated into their recruitment process.

We work with the marketing director and social media manager and have conduced in-depth reviews with each of the Managing Directors of the recruitment brands.

We have developed a social media strategy which is sensitive to the larger Capita brand whilst being sympathtic to the needs and brands of the recruitment businesses. Objectives of the project:

  • Improved brand and reach
  • Increased website traffic
  • Developing staff as “digital water coolers” - specialists in their markets
  • Educated and empowered staff
  • Increased internal attraction, increased speed of internal hire and reduced cost of internal hire

We engaged Barclay Jones to help us to make use of the available social media streams and to enable us to capitalise on them from both a branding and recruitment perspective.

Barclay Jones work closely with myself, my social media manager and have conducted in-depth reviews with the Managing Directors of each recruitment brand within our division. This enables us to define the channels, devise a strategy and deliver confidence to the brands we support and importantly allowed us to educate, get buy-in and integrate social media into our everyday processes.

We see the benefits of using social media in our recruitment divisions and the project has been enjoyable and successful. Barclay Jones also helps us develop communication and training tools to help us educate our staff and Directors, and keep them engaged in these channels.
