As a young man, Wayne decided that Spectrums were too common and decided to have an Amstrad 64k with tape deck and colour monitor. His favourite games were Roland on the Ropes and Harrier Attack.
He was the Archimedes flight simulator champion during his school days and upgraded to a DX2-66 during university days and a green screen Dell laptop, on which he wrote his dissertation.
After Wayne graduated in Technology and Management, he began working in a number of high performance director-level roles in the recruitment and business services sector. This is where he developed a strategic approach to IT and built a great working relationship with Lisa, which led to them winning the Computing award for IT Department of the Year.
Wayne has been involved with projects ranging from Virtualisation, CRM development, high-availability server and network infrastructure designs, EPOS systems, office relocations, company expansions, acquisitions and integrations, and disaster recovery. He specialises in working with growing recruitment firms in need of a retained, strategic presence.
His speciality is to work with clients who want clean, efficient IT systems. He builds trust in systems and helps his clients regain their confidence in IT, thus allowing them to take control of their business, to thrive and grow even further.
Wayne does not have his DX2 anymore, but he remembers fondly the green glow!

What does Wayne do when not working with growing businesses? He can be found climbing at Leeds wall, not finishing the latest book he is reading, cooking, supporting Arsenal and taking his 3 year old tweeting son @Barclay_Jones for a bike ride.
