Yorkshire Association of Business Angels (YABA) is a unique regional forum which brings together the finance and expertise of business angels with entrepreneurs and their business ideas.

We worked with Yaba to deliver their integrated CRM and website project.  

What did they want?

  • Yaba are a very busy team, who needed expertise and support to manage this crucial and time consuming project, but they wanted it delivered on time and to budget
  • They needed a joined-up and strategic approach to their business processes and website
  • They wanted support from a business-growth and tech specialist that could act on their behalf 
  • They are growing rapidly and wanted a future-proof website and a CRM which could automate many of their administrative tasks
  • They wanted help from an impartial source, and one that has worked with many web companies to deliver sites that improve brand and business process

What did we do?

  • We conducted a business process audit to decide which solution would be appropriate and how it would impact upon the business.
  • We sourced suppliers that were trusted, the right cultural fit and that "got" what their needs were.
  • Worked as their internal resource to manage the chosen supplier and the project to ensure that budget and timescales were adhered to.
  • Allow them to stay focussed on their day job and keep the business running - they appreciated how time consuming launching a project of this nature could be.
  • We provided a cost effective alternative to an in-house solution - their time was more expensive than ours and they needed to go live without business interruption.

Outcome

  • The business has a more joined up approach to its processes, data and customers.
  • The business now has a more visible online presence.
  • The business can now grow more effectively.
  • Internal staff now have access to systems and marketing tools to help them deliver a more refined process
