Sellick Partnership - Recruitment Awards Strategy

Sellick Gained an ROI Process from Our Recruitment Awards Training...

Sellick Partnership are specialists in professional services recruitment, operating across seven UK offices.

They are growing their brand and business and had entered a number of recruitment awards, but were not being shortlisted. They understood that there was significant ROI to be gained from recruitment awards, and knew that this key area would drive more engagement from clients, candidates and consultants.

We delivered a 5-phase process:

  1. We reviewed their existing submissions

  2. We helped them gather ideas for awards that, although not on their radar, would demonstrate their niche, attract the correct audience, and ironically be easier to enter and win!

  3. We delivered a workshop to help them build a structured plan, and more effective awards copy.

  4. We reviewed the new copy they created

  5. And finally, we delivered a workshop on how to generate ROI from awards, even before being shortlisted.

Our Recruiters Are Now Generating ROI...

Anna Williamson, Sellick Partnership

We needed to streamline our recruitment awards process.  We had entered a few awards and not gotten anywhere with them; we realised a more structured approach was needed to identify which awards to go for and how to create a winning submission.

Barclay Jones are quite high profile in the recruitment industry and clearly knew recruitment, our business and how to generate ROI.

It was very tailored to us – very interactive. It opened our eyes to new ideas that we hadn’t thought about before. We loved the tailored approach and would recommend Barclay Jones; people in other recruitment businesses will really get value from their expert knowledge of the sector.

We now have a plan, and a more structured approach to our awards strategy.  It has given us a “kick up the bum” and we have new ideas about awards which will demonstrate our specialisms and niche.

Three words to describe our experience with Barclay Jones? Informative – Fun – Rewarding!
