APSCo’s Aloha Charity Ball was a fantastic event – one of the highlights of the recruitment industry’s calendar – and our favourite thing about this event? It’s all for a fantastic cause!
We love APSCo’s events, so we bought a table for our lovely team (minus Solo) to support the fundraising – and enjoy a fab party of course!
APSCo currently works with St Ann’s Hospice, supporting their work with various fundraising endeavours and donations. The Charity Ball is held to raise money for the hospice, and you lovely recruiters certainly helped them achieve this! The night raised over £21,000 for St Ann’s Hospice which will have a significant impact on the support the hospice can give to those with life-limiting illness.
100 Years Later and the Work Continues!
There was an honourable mention given to Dame Cicely Saunders on the night, founder of the modern hospice movement as we know it. I definitely recommend you check out her story – an inspirational woman, and today marks the 100th anniversary of her birth!
Want to donate directly to St Ann’s Hospice in celebration of this very accomplished lady? Head over to their website and donate, or better yet find out how you can get involved in fundraising for them!
A Few Cheeky Photos?
We were having too much fun to get a group photo (isn’t that always the way!?) but here’s a few shots of our team enjoying the Charity Ball over in Manchester – a great venue, a wonderful event and a fantastic night out!
