They have helped us re-invigorate the database, and re-engage a large pool of candidates... They introduced us to capabilities we didn’t know Herefish could do.

Building Automations to Enable Scale

Rise is a technical recruiter specialising in Engineering, Energy, Construction & Technology.

Rise wanted to know how to use Bullhorn Automation effectively in order to generate significant ROI. They wanted us to advise them on automation best practice strategy.

They wanted us to build automations to help them:

  1. Improve recruiter productivity.

  2. Increase candidate engagement.

  3. Drive client business development / account management.

We formed an automation team of recruiters and the Operations Director to ensure the best strategy. Then, through a series of 4 quarterly sprints to improve adoption and ROI, we:

  • Understood and documented high level business objectives.

  • Cleaned up their data and improved data health.

  • Introduced minimum data standards.

And we built automations for Rise to:

  1. Improve candidate journeys and experience (and value).

  2. Increase sales through business development / account management automations. Historic clients were re-engaged and at risk clients actively managed.

  3. Standardise placement processes up to start date processes – candidates, clients, recruiters were more organised and communicated with.

  4. Boost aftercare processes – candidates and clients were managed. Fees protected.

Candidate Engagement Was a Crucial Goal

James Dawson, Rise Technical

Working with Barclay Jones allowed us to get a very good understanding of automation capabilities. They introduced us to capabilities we didn’t know Herefish could do.

The Rise team have now got a good grasp of what automation can do.

The Barclay Jones team are very knowledgeable in Bullhorn Automation. They have helped us re-invigorate the database, and re-engage a large pool of candidates, tidying up the data, and took away the human element and reliance on recruiters. They have certainly added value around candidate engagement which is crucial for us.

Plus, automatic triggers have helped us organise the database and the workflows, and who they target.

I value the relationship that Barclay Jones and I have developed.
